Table Tennis is surely a sport that looks so easy from the outside but once you hold the tiny racket in your hand, the little orange or white coloured ball makes you go ‘ping-pong’, as speed, accuracy, hand eye coordination all are tested within a margin of split seconds. This is what makes Table Tennis affectionately called as ‘TT’ by players worldwide.
Table tennis is enjoyed equally by all students in schools, for as a sport TT teaches us many key life lessons. Staying focussed on the target, not giving up till the end, fighting for every point and so forth, pupils learn a lot in a fun way through the sport.
In sync with this vision, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, Haryana recently organised a thrilling Table Tennis inter house tournament, which saw senior boys and girls compete with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
