The pre-primary students of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park celebrated Hindi Diwas with great vigour and gaiety. It was more than just a fun-filled celebration for the kindergarten students as they took the limelight for their exceptional performances. The young learners got an opportunity to pay tribute to the beauty of Hindi through heartfelt poetry, dohas, and varied performances that impressed each one in the audience.
The students delighted everyone by reciting, with full energy and charm, a gamut of Hindi poems and dohas. The chosen words, full of energy and charm, came across with clarity and confidence, so it was evident that they were growing in command over the language.

The highlight of the event came in the form of energetic animal costume-wearing students during the poem Janvaron per Kavita dedicated to animals. This enthralling show, not only spread joy but also sent an environmental message — stressing that nature must be respected.
Speaking about the event, Ms Rachna, Pre-primary coordinator, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, said that the early Years are the best time for any language acquisition. “Hindi is the Mother tongue of most families. It is imperative to give rich language exposure to children in early years which will lay the foundation for future learning. So whether it’s English or Hindi or any other language, the role of educators and parents is to provide good language experiences to children. It was a delight to see the students reciting Hindi rhymes and dohas with good expressions, intonations and pronunciation. Well done kiddos,” the educator shared.

Showing Confidence
The event undoubtedly outshone the previous ones with the huge amount of confidence with which the young students graced the stage. Their enthusiasm came as an infectious wave, and the audience, ranging from teachers to classmates, couldn’t help but cheer for more.
Overall, the Hindi Diwas at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, was a success. The performances of the students, along with their infectious enthusiasm, made a lasting impression on everyone present. It was an event that encompassed learning, laughter, and creativity, making it a long step in the journey of education for the students. The effort by the school to coordinate the fun with learning was evident.
As the event came to an end, there was a sense of pride in the kids as they celebrated their heritage. It not only fostered a love for the Hindi language but also nurtured the need to preserve its richness for all.
