Understanding the Research Paper, Case Writing, and Publication process is crucial for academicians as it enhances their scholarly contributions, promotes knowledge dissemination, and fosters academic growth. Proficiency in these areas enables effective communication of research findings, contributes to academic discourse, and establishes a solid foundation for building a reputable academic career.
Thus, IES’s Management College and Research Centre (IESMCRC) in Mumbai organised a workshop on “Research Paper and Case Writing and Publications”. Anuj Kumar, Assistant Professor at Apeejay School of Management was the resource person for the workshop. There was a deliberation on topic selection for publication in high quality journals. Prof. Kumar also emphasised the importance of collaboration for research and publication. He highlighted the various concerns researchers face during the publication process and how to address those concerns.
Sharing his thoughts Prof Anuj Kumar said, “Thank you Dr. Bhangale, Dr. Acharya for the invite. It was wonderful to be part of this interesting discussion alongside Dr. Nishu and Dr. Purvi. The learning was mutual. Best wishes for the upcoming conference.”
Along with Prof. Kumar, the other two speakers were Dr. Purvi Pujari, Professor, Vijay Patil School of Management (VPSM), Navi Mumbai and Dr. Nishu Ayedee, Founder and CMO, Confab 360 Degree.
Welcome all the guests and participants , Dr. Namrata Acharya, Assistant Professor at IES’s Management College and Research Centre, said, “This workshop was absolutely outstanding and full of practical knowledge and experience-based learning.”
A total of 25 participants were present during the offline session including all faculty members.
Dr. Nishu emphasised on the importance of selecting good conferences and how to start a research paper with a structure containing the whole information.
Lastly, Dr. Vijay Bhangale, Director of IES’s Management College and Research Centre, said, “This pre-conference workshop set the tone for our upcoming conference later in this month. All the faculty members enjoyed the learning during the session, and they are more committed towards publication now.”
