Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar organised a spectacular open event, Cosplay – A Fancy Dress and Talent Show recently. The event served as a vibrant platform for young children to showcase their creativity, talent, and confidence while adhering to the theme Trash to Treasure.
The event was organised under the inspiring leadership of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, whose vision for holistic education played a crucial role in shaping this memorable occasion. Her emphasis on creative expression, innovation, and environmental awareness was reflected in every aspect of the event.
The event was a grand success, with both children and their mothers actively participating in the theme-based dress-up activity. The young participants displayed their enthusiasm by donning innovative costumes made from recyclable and reusable materials, effectively promoting the importance of sustainability and creativity. With the assistance of their parents, they proudly showcased their outfits while explaining the significance of their attire about environmental conservation.
The talent show was a delightful highlight of the event. Children enthralled the audience with solo dance performances, melodious singing, expressive poem recitations, and captivating storytelling. Their boundless imagination and confidence lit up the stage, leaving the audience in awe. Each performance was met with applause, reflecting the audience’s appreciation for the children’s dedication and enthusiasm.
With 40 outstanding entries, selecting the best performances was a challenging task for the jury. However, five exceptional performers from each group were awarded medals as a mark of recognition. To ensure that every participant felt valued and encouraged, all children received participation certificates and gifts. This gesture aimed to boost their confidence and motivate them to continue exploring their talents in the future.
Adding to the significance of the day, Ms Priyanka Grover, Officiating Principal of Apeejay School, Model Town, addressed the audience. She commended the young participants for their efforts and performances, emphasising the importance of self-expression and confidence-building activities. She also congratulated the winners and encouraged all children to continue exploring their creative potential.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Ms Nidhi Ghai, Incharge, Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar, and Ms Namrata Sharma, Headmistress of the Primary Wing, Apeejay School, Model Town, Jalandhar. Their presence and support added to the encouragement of both the students and their parents. Teachers and staff members also played a pivotal role in making the event successful, ensuring smooth coordination and a joyous experience for all attendees.
Speaking about the grand event, Rayna and Avyukt’s parent expressed, “A beautiful and lifetime cherishable event organised by Apeejay. I’d like to thank the school for keeping it open for all. It was my daughter Rayna’s second performance and my son Avyukt’s first. I am overwhelmed by the response from the teachers and the principal. It was truly heart-touching and a wonderful boost for me. Thank you so much for having us, it was a pleasure.”
