Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched the Teacher App 2.0 – Powered by AI, in collaboration with Bharti Airtel and the CK-12 Foundation. The upgraded application has been designed as an AI-driven digital companion to support and empower schoolteachers across the country. It offers a range of tools, curated content, and data dashboards aimed at enhancing classroom engagement and improving productivity. The platform seeks to simplify lesson planning, enable personalised teaching strategies, and provide actionable insights to educators.
The application is expected to help teachers create more interactive learning environments while improving learning outcomes through data-backed insights and adaptive content delivery. By leveraging AI capabilities, the platform aims to foster personalised learning experiences tailored to diverse student needs.
The Minister urged collaborating institutions to prioritise the development and deployment of sovereign Language Learning Models. He emphasised the importance of making AI-powered training tools accessible in the majority of Indian languages to ensure inclusivity and equitable access to quality education across regions.
Teacher App 2.0 is positioned as part of the government’s broader push to harness emerging technologies to modernise India’s education system and equip educators with next-generation digital tools.
