Carry me towards the stars

Above the swirls and spires of

My masterpiece on canvas

About to be

Hacked, slashed and ripped to

Pieces by your sharpened knife

Take me beyond where

I am trapped within my labyrinth

Designed by future’s architect

Whose walls I sought to ruin

How cowardly of me

To cower before you

The dear friend I never asked for

Ah how your morbid, formidable beauty

Far exceeds my own

Have you ever noticed how 

Jealous I am?
