‘Activity-based learning at this school is incomparable’

Young kids at school are the most vivacious and enthusiastic lot who look forward to learning new concepts. Transforming this learning into a captivating experience is of supreme importance. Hence, parents look for a school that suits their children’s personality. One such parent is Neeraj Singh.

Singh’s son, Ayansh Singh, eagerly looks forward to dynamic methods used by the teachers which helps in heightening his confidence and overall development.

Excerpts from the interview. 

What made you select Apeejay?

After I visited many schools during the time of admission for my son, I finally selected Apeejay because I wanted my child to study in a school that provided activity-based learning and not only bookish-based education structure.

What kind of positive changes have you seen in your child?

It’s little early to comment on that since he is still young and is undergoing changes in his personality development gradually.  However, I feel that Apeejay is imparting good opportunities that are helping in my son’s growth and learning.

How are the teachers at school?

Teachers are always open to all kinds of conversations regarding my son. If there is any issue or suggestions discussed, the teachers resolve and implement the ideal solutions. Moreover since my child is very young, I don’t believe in pressurising him for anything. He is doing well in studies and extracurricular activities and performing beyond my expectations. I believe in the concept of natural learning and growth for my son.

How often do you interact with your son about school?

I keep a regular check on my son’s activities and academics. So far his involvement in extracurricular activities has increased. I see him participating in sports and cultural activities in school which is helping in his overall personality development. He is particularly interested in pursuing Karate at the school and is driven towards winning karate competitions. I also interact with my kid to understand if he is facing any discomfort or problems regarding any matter at school.

How has Apeejay fulfilled your expectations?

Apeejay has helped in the overall personality development of my son. I feel knowledge is not just book-based but it includes every aspect of experiences from life. I saw Apeejay firmly believing in this fact and helping my son to question and seek answers about various things in life. My son has gained immense confidence to discuss new things with me and his mother.

Do you identify with – school is the second home for a child?

I am happy that the school focuses on activity-based education. Events like Annual Day, Parent’s Day, Teachers Day, and Children’s Day are organised by the school and my son looks forward to participating in them. Such great opportunities that are given to my child helps him understand his capabilities and talent much better and hones his confidence level. So he feels happy the same way at school like he is at home.
