Apeejay School International, Panchsheel Park, Delhi, wrapped its students in a vibrant tapestry of languages and cultures from February 12 to February 17. This enchanting event dubbed the Language Week and Cultural Cosmos, turned the school into a bustling arena of linguistic prowess and cultural showcase, leaving an indelible mark on the young, impressionable minds from Reception and PYP 1-5.
Day 1: Symphony of Stories in Multifarious Tongues
The opening day set the tone with a linguistic fiesta. PYP 1-5 students took to the stage, weaving stories in English, Hindi, French, Spanish, and Indonesian. This peer teaching initiative went beyond imparting language skills; it fostered essential Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills like self-management, social, and communication skills, showcasing the comprehensive development Apeejay Education encourages.
Day 4: Parental Symphony in Book Reading Bliss
The fourth day brought parents into the limelight, transforming them into conduits of literary joy.
