Venkatesh was in the USA for his job. He lived as a tenant in the house of an old man named Mr. Peter Harrison. One morning, while Venkatesh was enjoying his usual cup of coffee, the sky suddenly darkened, and it began to rain heavily. He soon spotted a tornado heading towards their house. When he saw the horrifying tornado, he rushed out of the building, grabbing some belongings that he could carry. Then he realised, “Oh! My elderly landlord is still inside the house, crying for help.” Without a second thought, he rushed back into the house to rescue Mr. Peter.

At that moment, the tornado was dangerously close and had already begun to show signs of turbulence. Things were falling chaotically in the house, obstructing the exit. An iron rod also fell on Venkatesh’s foot, causing him to exclaim, “Oh, my foot! It’s extremely painful.” Despite this, he managed to get out of the house. He quickly placed Mr. Peter in the car and drove away at a swift 60 MPH. As he glanced at the enormous tornado, he cried out, “Oh my gosh! It has destroyed our house and is chasing us, devouring other houses!”
After an hour of continuous driving, the tornado disappeared, allowing the debris to fall to the ground. Venkatesh stopped the car. Mr. Peter, his elderly landlord, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m so thankful to you for saving my life, but my house and all the memories are gone.” He was in tears as he continued, “That house stood for 70 years, filled with the memories of my wife and children who left me to pursue jobs far away. Now, it has all vanished.”
Following this incident, Venkatesh brought Mr. Peter to India, to his own house and family, and they began living together there. Venkatesh often reflected on the terrifying storm and said, “What a catastrophic tempest it was. It still gives me goosebumps!”
