To help inculcate a sense of critical thinking and promote science as a core subject, Apeejay School, Noida recently conducted an engaging and information science quiz – Brainy Battles. This activity took place on May 17, 2024, and was exclusively designed for the students of classes VI to VIII.

The quiz encompassed a diverse array of subjects, touching on various important fields, such as:

Environment: Questions in this category focused on ecological issues, conservation efforts, and the impact of human activities on the planet.

Health and Wellness: This section tested knowledge of physical and mental health, nutrition, exercise, and general well-being practices.

Science in everyday life: Participants encountered questions about the application of scientific principles in daily activities, household items, and common phenomena.

Life Processes: This category explored biological concepts, covering topics such as cellular functions, plant and animal physiology, and human body systems.

Space and Technology: This section delved into advancements in space exploration, technological innovations, and their implications for the future.

The students demonstrated remarkable knowledge and a strong competitive spirit throughout the event. The quiz winners were: First Position was bagged by the Nehru House, followed by the second position bagged by Radhakrishnan House. The third and fourth positions were Tagore and Gandhi houses, respectively. All the participants were congratulated for their exceptional performance and enthusiastic involvement.
