The much-awaited District Level Drama Competition for Zones 23 and 24 was successfully held recently at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. The prestigious event witnessed the participation of six schools, bringing together some of the finest budding talents from the region. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as students eagerly awaited their chance to showcase their dramatic skills on stage.
The competition was graced by the esteemed presence of Ms. Rekha Chauhan, Coordinator of Zone 23, South District Shiksha Vibagh. Her encouragement and support for the students added a special significance to the event. Ms. Surabhi Joshi, Principal of Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, extended a warm welcome to the chief guest, judges, and participants. In her address, the Principal emphasised the importance of theatre and drama as a means to foster creativity, self-expression, and awareness among students.




Each of the participating schools brought their own unique flavor to the stage, with performances that ranged from thought-provoking social issues to traditional tales with modern interpretations. The level of competition was fierce, as the students left no stone unturned to deliver exceptional performances. Their dedication, creativity, and passion for drama were clearly evident in each act, making the task of the judges exceedingly difficult.
The performances were not only a showcase of theatrical talent but also served as powerful mediums for conveying important and eye-opening messages. The students used their platform to address issues of contemporary relevance, leaving the audience both enlightened and entertained. The applause after each performance was a testament to the appreciation and admiration that the participants garnered from the spectators.




The event concluded on a high note, with Ms. Rekha Chauhan and Ms. Surabhi Joshi applauding the efforts of every participant and encouraging them to continue nurturing their passion for drama and theatre.
