A light that still leads: Remembering Dr Stya Paul
Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, comes together to pay tribute to the beloved Founder-Chairman, reaffirming commitment to his ideals of compassion
The corridors of Apeejay Education once again echoed with reverence and remembrance as the school community came together to honour the 15th Punyatithi of its late Founder-Chairman, Dr Stya Paul — a visionary, philanthropist, and educationist whose ideals continue to guide and inspire generations.
A pioneer in Indian education, Dr Stya Paul was a firm believer in value-based, inclusive learning and holistic development. His life’s mission was to empower young minds with not only academic excellence but also a strong moral grounding. The institutes he founded are living testimonies of his tireless commitment to shaping a better, brighter future for all.
To mark the solemn occasion, a special prayer meeting was held at Apeejay School, Faridabad. It was attended by faculty members and students. The atmosphere was imbued with a deep sense of respect, warmth, and gratitude. A diya was lit in remembrance, symbolising the eternal light of knowledge and values that Dr Stya Paul ignited in countless lives. Floral tributes were offered at his portrait, followed by a serene recitation of soulful bhajans and shlokas by the students and staff, reflecting his love for spiritual music and devotion.
Principal of the school, Mrs Snehlata Krishnan, in her heartfelt address, paid tribute to the profound legacy of Chairman Sir. “Though not with us physically,” she said, “Chairman Sir lives on through the institutions he built and the values he instilled. The best tribute we can offer is to carry forward his vision with unwavering dedication and excellence.” Her words resonated deeply with all present, rekindling the spirit of service, sincerity, and purpose that Dr. Stya Paul stood for.
The ceremony was not just a remembrance but a reaffirmation of commitment to walk the noble path he carved with love and sacrifice. It served as a poignant reminder that true leadership is timeless and that even in his absence, Dr Stya Paul continues to guide the Apeejay family with his eternal light.
