Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, marked the beginning of the new academic session with a spirited Welcome Assembly, themed Together We Begin. Attended by students from Classes 6 to 12, the event reflected the school’s ethos while also celebrating its golden legacy of 50 glorious years in education.
The assembly began on a serene note with a prayer song, followed by the Thought of the Day, Word of the Day, and News Updates—setting a reflective and optimistic tone. The Shiksha Song, a melodic ode to the power of education, stirred hearts with its message of transformation. A beautifully choreographed dance followed, symbolising the energy, hope, and promise of fresh beginnings.
A nostalgic highlight of the assembly was a skit chronicling the school’s illustrious five-decade journey. It paid tribute to the generations of students who have walked the corridors of Apeejay Panchsheel Park, upholding its values of discipline, excellence, and service.
The school orchestra further elevated the atmosphere with a soulful musical performance, highlighting the deep connection between art and learning. The assembly also saw the formal introduction of CRUX MUN 2025-26, an initiative designed to nurture global awareness, critical thinking, and leadership among students.
Adding a heartfelt touch, the passing-out batch of 2024-25 presented sports equipment to the current students—an enduring gesture of encouragement, camaraderie, and legacy.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Ms. Surabhi Joshi encouraged students to embrace the new session with sincerity and dedication. She reminded the students that each academic year brings a chance to learn, grow, correct yesterday’s errors, and build on the successes of the past and went on to wish all students a rewarding and enriching year ahead.
