Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar recently celebrated the birthday of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, with much enthusiasm.
On this happy occasion, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of ACFA, expressed her views while saying, “Mrs. Berlia is not just a successful entrepreneur, a visionary educationist, a personality full of positive energy, but she is also a living embodiment of self-confidence and humility. She is an excellent leader who has always been a pioneer in contributing to the development of others. Mrs Berlia is successfully carrying forward the legacy of Dr. Stya Paul ji (Founder Chairman), to the next generations.”
The special day marked remarkable performances by the students of the Department of Music. Jasleen, Anmol, Sukhmani, Ramnik, Anjali, Ghazal and Diya sang the soulful bhajans and prayed for Mrs Berlia’s long and healthy life. Also, Prabhpreet Singh ( a student of B. Voc. Sound Tech) mesmerised everyone with his melodious performance on Dilruba.
Mr. Hiten (Department of Dance) and Vrinda (a student of B.Voc. Contemporary Form of Dance ) awed everyone with their performance on Guru Vandana. The audio and visual presentation of musical songs on the birthday of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia was also shown and admired by august gathering which was created by the joint efforts of Department of Music and Multimedia while the stage was gracefully handled by Ms. Rajni Kumar.
Lastly, Dr. Dhingra praised the efforts of Dr. Amita Mishra and Dr. Monica Anand for the great success of this programme.
