A Joyful Beginning for Young Learners at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park

Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, recently organised a heartwarming Student Connect Event for Class Nursery. The event was designed to provide young learners and their parents with a smooth transition into the school environment. The two-day event was filled with engaging activities, interactive sessions, and delightful moments that set the foundation for an enriching learning journey.

Day 1: A Warm Welcome to a New Beginning

The event commenced with a traditional Tilak ceremony, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere for the little ones. As they stepped into their classrooms, the children were greeted with lively rhymes and songs, filling the space with joy and energy.

The day unfolded with an engaging Circle Time, where children participated in fun activities aimed at fostering new friendships and encouraging social interaction. This session helped break the ice, allowing the young learners to feel comfortable in their new surroundings.

After an energising break time, the excitement continued with a captivating Magic Show. The children watched in awe as the magician performed fascinating tricks, leaving them wide-eyed with wonder. Following this, a lively Music and Movement session had the little ones swaying to the rhythm, promoting coordination, balance, and an appreciation for music in a fun-filled manner.

As the day drew to a close, a smooth and joyful dispersal ensured that each child left with a heart full of happy memories, eagerly looking forward to the next day.

Day 2: Connecting Hearts, Minds, and Spirits

The second day of the Student Connect Program was equally exhilarating. It began with a soothing prayer session, setting a positive and peaceful tone for the activities ahead. This was followed by an energetic rhyme and song session, where students joyfully participated, enhancing their listening and verbal skills.

A fitness and dance session saw the little stars showcase their best moves, reinforcing the importance of physical activity and teamwork. The highlight of the day was a story dramatisation session, where teachers brought the timeless classic, ‘Goldilocks and The Three Bears,’ to life. The young audience was mesmerised by the engaging storytelling, which nurtured their imagination and self-expression.

Adding to the excitement, students were treated to a thrilling Horse Cart ride—a joyful experience that left them beaming with delight. This adventurous ride added a touch of magic to their day, making it a memorable experience.
