A dream is not that which you see while sleeping; it is something that does not let you sleep. With this powerful thought by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam at its heart, Apeejay School, Noida, celebrated Appreciation Day 2025–26 for Classes III to V. The function was a day when effort met applause, and young learners stepped into the spotlight with confidence.
Nearly 500 students took part in the celebration. The morning began with a green welcome for the Guest of Honour, Shri Ramsharan Gaur, eminent writer and former Chairman of Hindi Academy, Delhi. Joining him was Mr Shivam Singh, IPS, an illustrious alumnus from the Batch of 2014. The ceremonial lamp lighting brought a sense of tradition and purpose to the occasion.
An orchestra of around 90 students filled the hall with melody. The harmony of instruments reflected months of practice. Soon after, a graceful invocation dance on Jyoti Kalash Chhalke created a serene atmosphere.
The school Principal, Dr Neha Sharma, addressed the gathering and shared the school’s achievements for the academic session 2025–26. The dignitaries praised the commitment of teachers and management in nurturing students beyond textbooks. They gently reminded children about the need to reduce mobile phone usage and invest time in meaningful pursuits.
The Class V students confidently presented the Annual School Report. They spoke about academic results, competitions, and co-curricular accomplishments. Their composure on stage reflected the very growth the school strives to nurture.
The prize distribution ceremony was a proud moment. Students from Classes III to V walked up to receive certificates and trophies. Each round of applause acknowledged dedication and quiet perseverance.
One of the most engaging segments was a play based on three tales of Akbar and Birbal. The young performers brought wit and wisdom to life. Beyond entertainment, the play carried a clear message. Reading shapes thought. Stories build character. Time is better spent on books than on endless scrolling.
Dance, music, drama, and instrumental pieces followed. Dressed in vibrant costumes, students performed with energy and joy. As the Vote of Thanks was delivered and the National Anthem echoed through the auditorium, there was a shared sense of pride.
The Annual Appreciation Day at Apeejay School, Noida, was more than a ceremony. It was a reflection of steady guidance, student resilience, and the belief that recognition encourages children to aim higher.
