“A Confident Start: Pushkar Finds His Footing at Apeejay School, Kharghar”

In just one month at the school, Class 7 student is already making his mark, shares his father

Transitions can be tricky—but for Pushkar Jha, it’s been smooth sailing so far. A recent transferee to Class 7 at Apeejay School, Kharghar, Pushkar has quickly adapted to his new environment and even begun thriving. From excelling in mathematics and science to joining the school’s chess competitions and showcasing his keyboard skills, he’s making the most of every opportunity. In this brief but warm conversation, Mr. Shankar Jha speaks about Pushkar’s adjustment and early progress at the school.

So how has Pushkar’s progress been shaping up so far?

Actually, we’ve just started—it’s only been about a month. Pushkar’s a new joinee, so we’re still settling in, but it’s been positive so far.

How is Pushkar liking the new school environment?
He’s liking it. From what I hear at home, he’s happy. It’s only been a short while, but he’s already started showing signs of comfort and confidence.

Which subjects has he taken a liking to?
His favourite subjects are Mathematics and Science. He’s always had an analytical and logical mindset—very practical in his approach.

That’s wonderful. What about sports—has he gotten involved in anything yet?
Yes! The school has already recommended his name for a chess competition. That happened within his first month, so we were really happy. He also enjoys playing basketball.

Any artistic or extracurricular interests?
Yes, he plays the keyboard. So, music is definitely something he enjoys in his free time.

How do you find the teaching staff so far?
The teachers are good. I’ve received positive feedback and he seems to be adjusting well academically under their guidance.

Lastly, how do you feel about the school’s infrastructure and staff?
The school building is good and the staff has been helpful. They’ve been cooperating well so far.
