Cultural celebrations play a crucial role in shaping young minds, fostering a sense of belonging, and instilling deep-rooted values. They provide an opportunity to embrace traditions, express joy, and strengthen the bonds within a community. Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar believes in nurturing children academically, emotionally, and culturally. With this vision, the school organised a vibrant and joyful celebration of Phoolon ki Holi along with International Women’s Day on March 10, 2025. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of young Rhythmites and their mothers, making it a truly memorable occasion.
The event commenced with a warm welcome, setting an exuberant tone for the day. To honour and appreciate the spirit of womanhood, a special Women’s Day cake-cutting ceremony was held. Mothers and children together marked the occasion, celebrating the invaluable contributions of women in shaping society. The atmosphere was filled with love, admiration, and gratitude, reinforcing the importance of respecting and valuing women.

The highlight of the event was the Phoolon ki Holi celebration, where children joyously played Holi with flower petals instead of colours, promoting an eco-friendly and safe festivity. The young learners, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, danced with their mothers, creating a mesmerising spectacle of energy and enthusiasm. Their laughter and excitement echoed throughout the premises as they celebrated the festival of colors in its purest form — with love, togetherness, and joy.
Attendees acknowledged Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, vision that has always emphasised the importance of instilling Indian values in young minds. Mrs Berlia believes that such celebrations help children grow with a profound sense of respect and appreciation for their rich cultural heritage.

Among the dignitaries present were Ms Nidhi Ghai, Incharge, Rhythms Kinderworld, Jalandhar, Officiating Principal, Apeejay School, Model Town, alongside Ms Namrata Sharma, Headmistress (Primary); and with esteemed faculty members. Their presence added to the spirit of encouragement and support for holistic learning.
“Colours of joy and gratitude filled the air as little Rhythmites and their mothers danced together, celebrating Holi and Womanhood with love, laughter, and togetherness,” Ms Ghai said.
