Apeejay School, Noida bids adieu to its Class XII students via a vibrant farewell ceremony
Farewell ceremonies are more than just goodbyes. They celebrate achievements, strengthen bonds, and inspire new beginnings. These events create lasting memories, honour student journeys, and instil confidence for the future. Through traditions, performances, and heartfelt moments, they symbolise growth, gratitude, and the transition to new opportunities with excitement and hope.
For the same, Apeejay School, Noida hosted an emotional and vibrant farewell ceremony, New Beginnings, for the outgoing Class XII students of the 2024-25 batch. The event was a heartfelt blend of nostalgia, tradition, and celebration, making it a memorable occasion for students and faculty alike.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising an auspicious start to the day’s proceedings. In a solemn and symbolic transition of responsibility, the Head Girl and Head Boy handed over the School Flag to the Vice-head Boy and Vice-head Girl, marking the continuation of leadership.
Adding to the sentimentality of the occasion, seniors took to the stage in their finest attire to receive personalised citations crafted by their juniors, a token of admiration and remembrance. The juniors further enlivened the event with a series of cultural performances, including energetic dance routines, soulful musical renditions, and an engaging skit that humorously yet poignantly reflected on the school journey.
A delightful surprise unfolded when the outgoing batch took centrestage for a special rhythmic performance, filling the atmosphere with nostalgia and joy. The moment was a heartfelt expression of gratitude and camaraderie among the students.
Addressing the gathering, Dr Neha Sharma, Principal of the school, extended her warm wishes and appreciation to the graduating students, urging them to embrace future challenges with confidence and resilience.
One of the most touching highlights of the event was the Passing of the Light ceremony, where teachers lit candles for the students, symbolising the eternal flame of knowledge and wisdom. This profound gesture emphasised the school’s enduring commitment to education and mentorship.
