Under the guidance and blessings of Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg campus came alive with festive cheer during its Diwali Bonanza celebration. The event beautifully combined the spirit of tradition, creativity, and sustainability, making it a memorable experience for students and parents alike. The vibrant decorations, the aroma of fresh flowers, and the cheerful laughter of children added to the joyous mood, creating an atmosphere of warmth and celebration across the campus.
The celebration opened with a special assembly that began with the chanting of the Gayatri mantra. Students then presented a soulful song, Deepawali Manai Suhaani, followed by a lively Happy Diwali dance performance. A powerful nukkad-natak on the theme of Green Diwali spread awareness about celebrating the festival responsibly. The students also took a pledge to observe an eco-friendly Diwali, reaffirming the school’s commitment to environmental consciousness.


Three days of festive fun and learning
From October 16 to 18, 2025, the school hosted a series of creative and engaging competitions that showcased the talent and imagination of its young learners.
October 16 – Diwali Bonanza: Classes I and II decorated candles, Classes III to V designed festive thalis with images of Goddess Lakshmi and Ganeshji, while Classes VI to VIII painted colourful diyas. Each creation reflected the students’ enthusiasm and artistic flair.
October 17 – Rangoli and Toran Making: Senior students took part in an Inter-house Rangoli Competition on the theme Diwali Landscapes, while middle schoolers displayed their creativity through vibrant torans under the theme Colours of Joy.
October 18 – Salad Making Competition: The final day celebrated health and creativity. Seniors prepared salads based on the theme Eco-friendly Diwali-Nature Ke Rang Salad Ke Sang, while middle schoolers explored Healthy Diwali-Light up with Nutrition. Parents attending the PTM admired the innovative presentations and appreciated the students’ dedication.










Lighting the spirit of Diwali
The entire campus glowed with diyas, rangolis, and torans, radiating warmth and festive energy. Corridors sparkled with handcrafted decor, reflecting the collective effort of students and teachers. Principal Mr Yashpal Sharma, Vice-principal, Mrs Aarti Shorey Bhatt, and Ms Jagrati Sharma, Pre-primary In-charge extended heartfelt wishes to students and staff, reminding everyone that Diwali is not just a festival of lights, but also of learning, sharing, and togetherness.
