How would you describe the overall teaching–learning environment in the School of Education at Apeejay Stya University?

The teaching–learning environment at Apeejay Stya University is supportive, inclusive, and academically enriching. It promotes active participation, open communication, and continuous learning.

In what ways do your teachers make classroom teaching interactive, engaging, and connected to real school practices?

Teachers encourage interaction through discussions, classroom simulations, case studies, and examples drawn from real school environments, which help bridge theory and practice.

Do you feel that the curriculum prepares you well for the realities of school teaching and professional life? Please share an example.

Yes, the curriculum is well-structured and prepares us for real classroom challenges. Activities like micro-teaching, lesson planning, and school-based practicum help build confidence and teaching skills.

How would you evaluate the assessment and evaluation system in terms of fairness, 

transparency, and continuous feedback?

The assessment system is fair and transparent, with a combination of internal assessments and practical work. Continuous feedback helps us identify areas of improvement.

In what ways do internal assessments, practicum, school internships, and reflective assignments help in your professional growth as a future teacher?

These components provide hands-on teaching experience, encourage self-reflection, and help develop classroom management, communication, and instructional skills.

How supportive and approachable are the faculty members when it comes to academic guidance, mentoring, and evaluation feedback?

Faculty members are very supportive and approachable. They provide academic guidance, mentoring, and constructive feedback whenever required.

What role do seminars, workshops, FDPs, community engagement, and co-curricular activities play in enhancing your learning experience?

These activities enhance our exposure to new teaching practices, current educational trends, and practical insights beyond the classroom.

How does Apeejay Stya University contribute to your holistic development beyond academics—such as leadership, values, and social responsibility?

The university promotes holistic development by encouraging leadership, ethical values, teamwork, and social responsibility through various academic and community-based activities.
