Share your recent achievements and success stories.
I am involved in skating and recently won two Gold medals in the 500 m and 1000 m races at a national-level championship, representing my state. I have been skating for over four years and also participated in Model United Nations, danced at school functions, and created art, winning competitions like Lippan Art. My achievements are recognised by my school. I have also been featured multiple times in newspapers like Amar Ujala. Even after a knee injury before the nationals, I competed and won, which was a proud moment for me.
What motivated you to pursue these activities?
I was inspired to pursue skating after seeing my brother take it up professionally, which pushed me to explore my potential. Skating challenges me to improve and builds my confidence, while dance lets me express emotions. Art helps me relax and stay creative. My parents, teachers, and family motivate me to keep going, even during tough times.
How have these extracurricular activities honed your personality?
They have made me more confident, disciplined, and resilient. Skating taught me punctuality and focus, while dance and art help me manage stress and express myself. Competitions have shown me my strengths and areas to improve, helping me grow as a person.
How do you balance extracurricular activities along with academics?
I follow a structured routine: Rest, study, practice skating, then revise at night. On off-days, I spend time with friends while keeping up with studies. During competitions, I stick to my schedule and give my best. My parents help me stay disciplined, which allows me to manage both academics and extracurricular activities effectively.
Would you like to pursue a career in any of these activities?
I do not plan to make skating, dance, or art my main career, as I want to focus on academics and aim for the Civil Services. However, I will continue these activities seriously as hobbies and participate in competitions when possible, with skating being my favourite.
