‘Our journey with Apeejay School has been truly wonderful

Meet Ms Amarjeet Kaur, proud mother of Simran Kaur Kahlon, a diligent Class XII student of Apeejay School, Rama Mandi. With both her children having studied at Apeejay School, she shares her experience of the school’s nurturing environment, dedicated staff, and the holistic development it offers. How has your journey been with the school?

Our journey has been truly wonderful. The school provides a nurturing environment with very supportive staff. We are delighted with the academic guidance and extracurricular opportunities offered to Simran. The school has been excellent for both my children. My son has completed his Class XII, and Simran is continuing. The teachers are dedicated, and the learning environment is well-organised, giving equal importance to academics and overall personal growth.

How is the school preparing your daughter for the Boards?

The school ensures proper preparation through consistent guidance and pre-board exams. The teachers monitor students closely, helping them strengthen weak areas and improve time management. Simran feels confident, supported, and motivated to perform well in her boards.

Have you noticed any changes in her development?

Both my children have been part of the school for many years. Their overall development, from academics to extracurricular activities, has been carefully nurtured. They have grown confident, independent, and capable under the guidance of skilled and caring teachers. Simran is active in sports and participated in basketball at the district level. She enjoys all activities around her, including music and dance. Such involvement helps build leadership, teamwork, and time management, while balancing academic priorities effectively.

How do you support her in her studies?  

As children grow, parental involvement decreases, but we ensure she remains focused and disciplined. We spend quality time discussing academics and life skills. Encouragement and support from home complement the school’s efforts, helping her stay motivated and responsible. 

Do you attend school events regularly?

I feel parental involvement strengthens the child’s confidence and encourages participation. These events showcase talent, creativity, and teamwork, which are essential for holistic development. The school provides an excellent platform for students to shine. 

What are Simran’s plans after Class XII?

Simran aims to pursue a career in the medical field. She is focused on her studies and extracurricular growth. With the school’s support, guidance, and consistent encouragement, she is confident of achieving her career goals and excelling in future endeavours.
