The corridors of Apeejay Svran Global School were abuzz with excitement as students arrived dressed as ghosts, witches, skeletons, and superheroes. The festive atmosphere turned the school into a joyful carnival of colours and laughter. Halloween served as a delightful occasion for students to express creativity, teamwork, and imagination — values that form the heart of holistic learning at the school.

Learning Through Play for the Youngest Learners

The Pre-Primary students began their celebrations with a fun-filled game of “Musical Chair – Trick or Treat.” The playful competition taught them essential social skills like patience, coordination, and sportsmanship. Amid giggles and excitement, they learned how to follow rules, cheer for their friends, and most importantly, enjoy every moment of participation.

For Classes I and II, the Halloween-themed drawing activity was a wonderful outlet for artistic expression. With crayons and sketch pens in hand, students drew pumpkins, bats, and haunted houses. This activity not only strengthened their motor and observation skills but also encouraged them to think creatively and narrate short stories through their artwork.

Blending Academics with Festivity

Meanwhile, students of Classes III to V participated in an engaging reading comprehension activity focused on Halloween. Through stories and comprehension passages, they explored new words, discussed global traditions, and learned how celebrations can differ yet bring people together. The task beautifully merged language learning with cultural understanding.

Teachers and staff added to the festive cheer, appreciating the students’ enthusiasm and thoughtful costumes. The day reminded everyone that celebrations at school are more than just fun — they are opportunities for experiential learning, creativity, and cultural awareness.

As laughter echoed through the corridors, the Halloween celebration became a memory of joy, unity, and shared learning. At Apeejay Svran Global School, every event is designed to help students grow not just academically, but emotionally and socially — making this Halloween truly spooktacular!
