Inspiring messages for young learners

The Chief Guest, Mr. Om Prakash Deshwal, highlighted the importance of preserving India’s cultural heritage and strengthening unity in diversity. He called upon the students to uphold moral values, act responsibly and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

In her address, Principal Mrs. Snehlata Krishnan reminded students that they are the torchbearers of India’s future. She urged them to channel their energy, creativity, and compassion towards building a progressive, inclusive, and self-reliant nation. Her words inspired the children to realise that the power to transform society lies in their hands.

A cultural showcase of talent

Students put up an impressive cultural programme which included a soulful choir, an orchestra performance, stirring speeches, a patriotic quiz, heartfelt poetry recitations, and vibrant dance performances. Each presentation not only entertained but also carried strong messages of patriotism, courage, and unity.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, leaving the audience filled with renewed enthusiasm and determination to serve the country.

The Principal hoisted the Tricolour flag and the school community joined in singing the National Anthem with pride. The programme concluded on a patriotic note, filling hearts with renewed responsibility towards the nation and echoing the thought: “Saluting the past, shaping the future!”

To extend the spirit of Independence Day, the school organised India Week celebrations, where students engaged in creative, cultural, and educational activities:

Pre-Primary Celebration: The youngest learners of the school showcased their patriotic spirit through colourful performances filled with innocence, joy and love for the nation.

Role Play: People Who Made India Proud: Primary students dressed up as national heroes such as Rani Lakshmi Bai, Mahatma Gandhi, and APJ Abdul Kalam, learning about their contributions in an engaging manner.

Craft and Creativity: Class V created colourful cardboard maps of India, while Class II made paper peacocks and traditional dress-up displays. Class III students designed kites inspired by the tricolour.

Celebrating Indian Languages: Class V students explored the diversity of India by learning to say “I love my India” in different languages, fostering pride in the nation’s linguistic heritage.
