GATE 2025 admit cards released

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 today, January 7. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now download their hall tickets from the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in To download the admit card, candidates must log in using their enrolment ID and password. The GATE 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, at multiple centres across the country.

The three-hour, computer-based test (CBT) will be conducted in English and includes 30 subject papers. Candidates can opt for one or two papers, depending on their eligibility. The test features three types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. While negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers in MCQs, no negative marking is applied for MSQ or NAT questions.

Steps to Download the GATE 2025 Admit Card

  1. Visit the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
  2. Click on “Download Admit Card” on the homepage.
  3. Log in using your enrolment ID and password.
  4. Enter the security captcha displayed on the screen.
  5. Click “Submit” to view the admit card.
  6. Download and print the admit card for future reference.

What’s new this year?

The Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering at IIT Kanpur will now admit MTech students through GATE 2025. Additionally, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) like NPCIL, GRID-INDIA, and GAIL will recruit candidates based on GATE 2025 scores in selected papers.
