Teeny weeny fun fair at Apeejay School, Saket turns to celebrate its silver jubilee

School fairs play a crucial role in a child’s early development, blending education with entertainment. They allow young learners to explore, create, and collaborate, fostering creativity, social interaction, and essential life skills. Such events also cultivate a sense of community and teamwork, leaving a lasting impact on holistic learning.

On December 21, 2024, Apeejay School, Saket proudly celebrated the Silver Jubilee of the much-anticipated Teeny Weeny Fun Fair with the enchanting theme Journey through Seasons. This milestone marked 25 years of nurturing creativity, joy, and life skills among the youngest members of the school community. The grand celebration was a testament to the fair’s legacy of fostering meaningful learning through fun-filled experiences.

The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms Seema Sharma, a senior broadcaster, stage anchor, and voice-over artist, whose vibrant presence added sparkle to the occasion. The school Principal, Dr Sujeet Eric Masih, warmly welcomed Ms Sharma and the gathered audience. In his address, he highlighted the significance of such events in nurturing the holistic development of young minds, emphasising their role in building creativity, confidence, and essential life skills.

The fair offered various thoughtfully curated activities to instil practical knowledge and key life skills. Highlights included Bunny Hop Blitz, Claymation, Summer Coolers, Nail Art, Think and Link, Potter’s Wheel, Tale a Tag, and Hanky Art Hub. Each activity was designed to blend fun with experiential learning, equipping children with foundational skills like financial literacy, budgeting, and teamwork. Student volunteers, guided by dedicated teachers, flawlessly managed the vibrant stalls, showcasing a seamless blend of leadership and responsibility.

A highlight of the event was the chief guest’s interactive session, where she charmed the audience with captivating rhymes and melodious songs, creating unforgettable moments for both children and adults.

“A great event by the students, for the students, and managed by the students. Nice to see young toddler learn street smartness.. carving their niche. Blessings and kudos,” Dr Masih said.

The Silver Jubilee edition of the Teeny Weeny Fun Fair perfectly embodied the theme of seasons, offering an engaging, educational, and celebratory experience. The event served as a platform for children to showcase their creativity, acquire new skills, and revel in the spirit of exploration. It concluded on a high note, leaving a trail of cherished memories and a legacy of meaningful learning for all participants.
