How has your experience been with Apeejay School for your daughters, Rithanya and Riyanshi?
I am very happy with Apeejay School. Both my daughters, Rithanya and Riyanshi, are thriving here. Riyanshi joined in 2nd grade after we moved back from Switzerland, and adjusting was tough for her. She didn’t know Hindi, but the teachers helped her learn from scratch. Now, she’s fluent and doing well in her studies. For Rithanya, I was initially worried because she was very young, just under three, when she started. But the Principal assured me she wouldn’t be overburdened, and now she loves going to school.
Can you share more about how Riyanshi adapted to the school after returning from Switzerland?
It was a big change for Riyanshi. In Switzerland, they don’t write before the age of 8, so she wasn’t used to the Indian curriculum. However, the teachers here were very supportive. Riyanshi started from scratch with Hindi and other subjects. She’s now performing well in her classwork and homework. She’s also gained confidence and is very polite and social.
How has Rithanya adjusted to starting school at such a young age?
Initially, I was hesitant because she was the youngest in her class. But now, she wakes up excited to go to school every day. She wasn’t very talkative before, but within two months, she’s become much more expressive. She enjoys participating in school activities and speaks a lot more now.
Have your daughters participated in any extracurricular activities?
Yes, Riyanshi is very active in sports. She’s part of the sports group and has learned a lot about flexibility and motor skills. She also won the third prize in a race last year. Rithanya, even though she’s only three, loves playing with a bat and ball. She’s showing a lot of interest in sports, just like her sister.
How do you feel about the school’s environment and the teachers’ involvement?
The environment at Apeejay is very nurturing. The teachers give personal attention to each child and keep parents updated. When Riyanshi faced issues with other kids commenting on her being from Switzerland, the teachers handled it very well. They made sure all students understood and respected each other’s backgrounds. This kind of environment is crucial for the overall growth of children.
How do you find the school’s approach to communication and parent involvement?
I appreciate the open communication between teachers and parents. We can discuss any issues directly with the teachers or the Principal. This open platform is very important as it helps address any concerns promptly and effectively.
What are some of the achievements and activities your daughters have participated in at Apeejay?
Riyanshi has done very well in sports and academics. She participated in Olympiads and scored well. She also loves skating and swimming. As for Rithanya, she is very enthusiastic about her nursery activities. She has learned a lot and is very happy at school.
Overall, are you satisfied with your decision to choose Apeejay School for your daughters?
Absolutely. I am very satisfied and happy with the decision to enrol my daughters at Apeejay School. The personal care, attention, and the overall development environment have been wonderful. Both my daughters are growing and learning in a very healthy and supportive environment.
