Extracurricular activities play a crucial role in the overall development of students and offer numerous benefits that complement academic education. “Successfully participating in extracurricular activities can boost self-confidence and self-esteem. This school makes children engage in hobbies and interests outside of academics which is a great way to relieve stress and maintain mental health,” shares Manu Duggal whose son Aardhya studies in class VIII in Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg.

In a conversation, the father shared his experience with the school.

Why did you select Apeejay as an admission choice?

We went to this school for multiple reasons. The prime reason is that my family relatives are an alumni of Apeejay School and I know how this institute functions. So I believe that my son will be most comfortable here only.

How has your son’s journey been at school so far?

My son, Aardhya, is now 13 years old. His journey since primary level till so far has been great. He has picked up and learned a lot of things to study, and the school environment including the staff members has all shaped him into a fine child.

 How are the teachers here?

They are extremely helpful whenever there is any issue regarding our child. I would like to say that the teachers here have bridged the gap between our children and the school curriculum so well that we are completely satisfied.

Do you agree that school is the second home for a child?

This school holds an old legacy in our city. From the environment to the school’s academic structure to the staff members here, all perform their duties perfectly.

What kind of extracurricular activities does your son enjoy at school?

He is actively involved in sports like chess and badminton and participates in various competitions. He also participates in theatre events.

Do you discuss career goals with your children?

My elder daughter wants to take up the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) stream in XI and XII in the same school and my son right now is young, so we haven’t interacted much about the topic.
