Nishika Mogla is a fourth semester BBA student at Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar. She is already an entrepreneur dealing in photo frames and is making her mark quickly in her college as well.
In a quick interview, her father tells us about her growth at AIMETC and how the institute is doing its best to ensure her holistic growth. Read edited excerpts:
How has Nishika’s progress been?
Very good indeed. She has made many friends and is well adjusted in college. Her performance is very good in exams. She is one of the top students in her class in all the semesters so far. I am very happy with her progress.
And how has her extra curricular side flourished?
She does a small entrepreneurship of photo frames. SHe gets many orders for the same and it’s inspiring to see her balance this business venture so well along with her studies. She is also very active in the activities held at college,
Are the teachers teaching well?
Yes. My daughter has never had any complaints about her teachers. I am certain they are doing a fine job.
Is the college training her well for the placements?
Yes. Be it interview-facing skills, resume writing workshops, or group discussions, AIMETC is leaving no stone unturned to train the students and ensure their good performance in the coming placement season.
What career does Nikita have in mind?
Well, she is too focussed on her BBA at the moment. But she plans to prepare for an MBA post this degree. Let’s see how it all goes.
