Recently, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, successfully organised a General Knowledge Quiz for Class I students with the aim of nurturing curiosity, confidence, and awareness among young learners. The engaging event was thoughtfully planned to make learning enjoyable while highlighting the importance of staying informed and observant about the world from an early age.
The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students divided into five teams. Each team displayed remarkable zeal, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition. The rounds were carefully designed to suit the age group and included questions related to general awareness, current happenings, basic science, environment, numbers, shapes, and everyday observations. The interactive and lively format ensured active participation and sustained interest among all students.
The young participants impressed everyone with their quick thinking, confident responses, and eagerness to learn. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students and teachers cheered for the teams, creating a motivating and joyful environment. After a closely contested quiz, Team C emerged as the winner, earning appreciation for their excellent coordination and sharp presence of mind. However, all teams performed commendably, proving that learning can be both fun and meaningful.
The event was graced by the school Principal, Mr Vineet Vasishtha, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers in making the quiz a success. Addressing the students, he encouraged them to develop a habit of reading, asking questions, and staying curious about their surroundings. He emphasised that general knowledge plays a vital role in building confidence, improving communication skills, and laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Certificates were awarded to the winning team as well as all participants to acknowledge their efforts and enthusiasm. The smiling faces of the children reflected their joy and sense of achievement. The General Knowledge Quiz proved to be a memorable and enriching experience, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education beyond textbooks.
