Dear Mumma,
As I sit down to write this letter, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude for your presence in my life. Words seem inadequate to express the depth of my love for you, but I’ll try my best.
You’ve been my rock through every storm, my cheerleader through every triumph, and my safe harbor when life gets overwhelming. I often wonder how one person can possess so much strength, wisdom, and compassion. The way you’ve navigated life’s challenges with grace has taught me more than any lesson could.
I treasure our conversations, whether they’re deep heart-to-hearts or simple chats about our day. In those moments, I feel truly seen and understood in a way that only you can provide. Your laughter is still my favorite sound in the world.
Thank you for the countless sacrifices you’ve made for me, many of which I’m probably still unaware of. Thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. Your unwavering faith in my abilities has been the foundation upon which I’ve built my confidence.
I admire your kindness, your resilience, and your ability to find joy in the simplest things. These qualities have shaped who I am today, and I strive to embody them in my own life.
Mumma, you are loved beyond measure—not just for what you do, but for who you are. I hope you feel even a fraction of the love and happiness you’ve given me throughout my life.
With all my heart,
Manya Jain
