With pride, students and teachers celebrated 74th Republic Day 

Freedom of thought, strength in our conviction and with pride in our rich heritage, all Indians celebrate Republic Day with pomp and fervour every year. Immersed in a similar zeal, the students and teachers of Apeejay School, Kharghar, gathered to celebrate the 74th Republic Day. The school organsied a special assembly. 

Tejaswini Katdare, Principal of the school, unfurled the national flag which was followed by singing of the national anthem ‘Jan Gan Mana’ by the school choir. Then the march past followed as part of a ceremonial occasion.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal emphasised on the role of discipline while quoting “Freedom without education and discipline is useless.”  The celebration also showcased a plethora of events including patriotic songs, dances and a lezim formation  portraying ‘Nari Sakti ‘as well as paying tribute to the frontline warriors of our society. 

Following which, a zumba performance was showcased indicating that this high-energy dance fitness  workout has a lot of health benefits. In the end, the ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks.
