Vrindavan Dandiya Utsav 2025: A celebration of culture, joy, and learning

The festive spirit of Navratri came alive at Apeejay School, Saket as the campus turned into a vibrant hub of music, joy, and cultural celebration during the much-awaited Vrindavan Dandiya Utsav 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, students, teachers, and staff, who came together to celebrate tradition in its most colourful and graceful form.

From the moment guests entered the school premises, they were greeted by dazzling décor reminiscent of Vrindavan’s divine aura, beautifully lit pathways, floral arrangements, and melodious Garba tunes that set the mood for the evening. The sound of rhythmic dandiya beats and the laughter of families dancing in unison created a truly heartwarming atmosphere.

A Celebration of Culture and Learning

The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolising the triumph of good over evil and the victory of devotion over ego – key values that Apeejay Education strives to instill in every learner. Teachers and students joined hands in extending a warm welcome to guests, reinforcing the school’s culture of respect, inclusivity, and joyful learning.

As the evening unfolded, the ground turned into a spectacular dance floor. Children twirled in colourful ghagras and kurta-pyjamas, while parents matched their steps with equal enthusiasm. The sight of teachers and students dancing together perfectly captured the school’s belief that education goes far beyond classrooms – it lies in shared experiences that nurture confidence, creativity, and community bonding.

The event’s seamless organisation received heartfelt appreciation from parents, who lauded the school’s meticulous planning and hospitality.

Parents Share Heartfelt Appreciation

Dr. Bashneen, father of Adam (Class 11 B), shared his delight, “The Vrindavan Dandiya Utsav 2025 was an absolute stunner! Everything was so well organised. Principal Sir and senior teachers warmly welcomed every guest. My child had a great time with his friends, dancing away to glory. The food stalls were excellent, and overall, it was a memorable evening full of fun, laughter, and entertainment.”

“It was a truly rewarding experience, and I deeply appreciated the chance to engage with such a thoughtful and passionate group of people. From the planning to the execution, every detail was handled with such care and professionalism.” said another parent.

Parents of Dishika Tyagi (Class 8A) also shared a similar thought,”Seeing students and parents celebrate together brought a true sense of family and festive spirit.”

Such reflections beautifully capture the spirit of Apeejay’s community events, where learning happens through celebration, collaboration, and creativity. Students not only imbibe cultural values but also learn the importance of teamwork, social interaction, and confidence-building through such immersive experiences.

As the night came to a close, the glowing smiles and the rhythmic sound of dandiya sticks echoed one message loud and clear that learning can be joyous, vibrant, and deeply rooted in tradition. The Vrindavan Dandiya Utsav 2025 was more than just a festive gathering; it was a lesson in unity, culture, and shared happiness.
