Visit to an experiential marketing company

Students of Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC) went for a field visit at Communique India, Gurugram. The students of Advertising and Marketing Communication as well as Corporate Communication, PR and Event Management along with other students who had their job placement at Communique India got the chance to visit the experiential marketing company.

Dressed in professional attire, everyone reached the office. Mr. Tarun Agarwal, Co-founder and CEO at Communique India, an experiential marketing professional with 20 years of hands-on experience gave the presentation to the students.

He explained different areas including client servicing, project management, copywriting, creative, content writing as well as technology and digital media. Mr. Tarun also emphasised the importance of incisive research irrespective of the field we choose to go forward. Not just that, he also explained the working of an agency.

Further, he highlighted the formulation, working and making of a campaign from scratch and how different people have different roles in making a campaign work successfully.

Thereafter, the live campaigns done by Communique India were shown to the students by the expert. We were then introduced to the different divisions of office at Communique India followed by the interview.

Manika Jain from Corporate Communications, PR and Event Management said, “It was a fun and learning experience where we got to know about experiential marketing and how it helps brands to reach out to customers in an effective way.”

Parinita from Advertising and Marketing Communication expressed, “I went for my first industry visit to Communique India. It was an astonishing experience for me. I met Mr. Tarun Agrawal, the CEO, who guided me and my fellow mates about how the industry works.”

Another student, Muskan Garg from Advertising and Marketing Communication said, “Communique India industry visit was a very immersive and an enlightening experience. CEO Tarun Aggarwal explained all about his company’s culture and how they create a hands-on experience for their clients through their incisive research. It was very thrilling to understand how great campaigns are formulated within that office.”

Overall, the visit was a great experience as students got to know about experiential marketing and the working of an agency.
