The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the schedule for the NDA & Naval Academy (NA) II Exam 2025. Here’s what aspiring candidates need to know:
Exam Date & Timings
- The NDA II and NA II exam will be held on Sunday, 14 September 2025.
- The exam will be conducted in two sessions:
- Mathematics: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- General Ability Test (GAT): 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Mathematics: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Notification & Application Timeline
- The official notification was released on 28 May 2025, with online applications opening the same day.
- The initial last date to apply was 17 June 2025, which later got extended to 20 June 2025.
Vacancies & Eligibility
- UPSC has announced 406 vacancies for NDA II 2025.
- Eligibility criteria include Indian citizenship, an age between 16.5 to 19.5 years, and having passed or appearing in Class 12. Physical fitness as per UPSC standards is also a must.
Exam Pattern & Format
- The NDA II exam consists of two papers: Mathematics (300 marks) and General Ability Test (600 marks), totaling 900 marks.
- Both papers are objective-type, conducted offline, and are bilingual (English and Hindi).
Admit Card Release
- Admit cards are expected to be released 10–15 days before the exam, typically in late August or early September 2025.

- Prepare according to the exam pattern—covering Mathematics and GAT topics from Class 11 and 12.
