
As the golden hues of spring painted the horizon, Apeejay School, Noida, resonated with devotion and joy as students of Class 6-A and 6-B came together to celebrate Basant Panchami with a vibrant morning assembly. Marking the arrival of spring and honouring Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom and learning, the event beautifully blended culture, tradition, and knowledge. The air was filled with festivity as students engaged in poetry, music, and insightful reflections, making the occasion truly special.
Stepping away from routine, the assembly became a tribute to learning and enlightenment, reminding everyone of the significance of wisdom and knowledge in shaping one’s life. Hosted by Aditya and Raghav, the celebration began on an uplifting note with a beautifully recited poem by Aditya, setting the stage for an inspiring morning. This was followed by Inesh’s thought for the day, offering words of wisdom to reflect upon. To keep the audience informed, Advit Yadav, Aryaman Singh, and Reet Khanna presented the latest news updates.
Adding a spiritual touch, a soulful Sanskrit shloka recitation filled the hall with divine energy, followed by a mesmerising dance performance that brought the spirit of Vasant Panchami to life. Chitramukta’s insightful talk on the significance of the festival deepened the audience’s understanding of its cultural and spiritual essence.
The event also incorporated an interactive pronunciation drill, conducted by Ryan and Gurvir, designed to enhance students’ clarity and articulation in speech. Bringing an inspiring perspective to the occasion, Principal, Dr. Neha Sharma, addressed the gathering, emphasising the importance of continuous learning and active listening. She encouraged students to stay curious, absorb knowledge from every opportunity, and cultivate good listening skills for personal and academic growth.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the singing of the National Anthem, instilling a deep sense of unity and patriotism.
