School is often considered a child’s second home because it plays a crucial role in their development, much like their primary home. “This school extends the nurturing, educational, and developmental aspects of a child’s life beyond their primary home, contributing significantly to their overall growth and well-being,” says Rishma Mendiratta whose son Raghav is studying in class VII at Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg.
This is what this mother had to say about this esteemed school.
How did you select Apeejay as an admission choice?
During my search for an apt school, my close friends suggested Apeejay. They vouched for this school’s curriculum as the best in the town. Now that both my kids are in this school, I feel Apeejay lives up to its words of providing holistic development.
How are the school facilities?
The most appreciable part is the school has sports activities like basketball, and skating during morning hours. Then they also organise sports competitions that enhance the competitiveness among students.
How has your son’s journey been at school so far?
My son, Raghav is now 12 years old. So far his journey at school has been fantastic. I have observed that his confidence level has been boosted after participating in various activities and competitions at school.
How are the teachers here?
The teachers are extremely cooperative. Whenever I have faced any issue or have a query, the teachers have always been around for help. We also have a special parent-teacher WhatsApp group where I can refer to all subject teachers and resolve my doubts.
Do you agree that school is the second home for a child?
It’s true because both my kids spent most of their time at school. They are at school from 7 am to 3 pm and are learning and picking up several new things.
Define your parenting style.
I keep myself updated about their studies and progress in academics always. We also believe in inculcating traditional values like touching the feet of elders at social gatherings.
