Choosing the right career is a critical decision that has a significant impact on a student’s future. It can determine their earning potential, job satisfaction, and overall quality of life. Picking a career that aligns with a student’s skills, interests, and values can lead to a fulfilling and rewarding career path. On the other hand, choosing the wrong career can result in unhappiness, frustration, and a lack of motivation. It’s important for students to take the time to explore their options via researching different careers. And this is where career counsellors also play a critical role in mentoring students to make an informed decision about their future.
