The Talent Think Tank: Students Redefine the Future of HR 

The HR Club of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, successfully organised an engaging and insightful event, “The Talent Think Tank – HR Innovation Pitch”. The initiative provided a dynamic platform for students to showcase innovative and practical HR solutions, bridging the gap between academic concepts and real-world challenges.

The event was designed to nurture creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation skills, preparing students to become future-ready HR professionals. With a strong emphasis on innovation, participants presented their ideas on some of the most pressing themes shaping the future of Human Resource Management.

The core themes of the activity were diverse and highly relevant: Reimagining Recruitment & Onboarding, Technology in HR – AI, Chatbots & Automation, Inclusive Workplaces: Diversity, Equity & Belonging, HR for Hybrid & Remote Work Environments, and Mental Health & Well-being at the Workplace. These topics encouraged students to think deeply about challenges in modern workplaces while proposing sustainable and actionable solutions.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across MBA and BBA programs. Their presentations reflected not only theoretical understanding but also practical approaches to tackling evolving HR needs. Each team demonstrated how HR can drive organizational transformation in an era of technological disruption and changing workforce expectations.

The results of the activity were as follows:
 First Position – Team of Mehak, Dhruv, Waris, and Shruti (MBA I)
 Second Position – Team of Harpreet, Harkirat, and Vanshika (MBA I)
 Third Position – Sidhanth (BBA I)
 Consolation Prizes – Team of Nishtha & Ravleen (MBA III A) and Team of Umesh & Khusboo (MBA III B)

The event was a resounding success, thanks to the guidance of Convener Dr. R.R. Rajan Chaudhary and Faculty Coordinator Dr. Anuradha. Their efforts ensured the seamless execution of the competition and encouraged students to perform with passion and confidence.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC, lauded the initiative and praised the efforts of the HR Club.
