Tell us about yourself.
I’m a cheerful and hardworking individual who finds joy in staying busy throughout the day. I have an immense passion for cars. Beyond that, fitness is a key part of my life, and I love pushing myself to stay active and healthy. I passed out from Apeejay School in 2012. The school holds a very special place in my heart.
How have studies at Apeejay School helped you soar high?
The school provided a strong academic foundation, but what truly made a difference was the school’s focus on holistic development. The exposure to various activities, leadership roles, and networking opportunities helped me gain confidence and real-world skills. More importantly, being surrounded by ambitious and entrepreneurial-minded peers reinforced my desire to start my venture. The school’s environment instilled in me the belief that success isn’t just about grades rather it’s about applying knowledge, adapting, and innovating.
How did you develop problem-solving and creative thinking skills as a student?
I was actively involved in clubs, competitions, and extracurricular activities at school, which helped me develop a problem-solving mindset. Whether it was managing events, debating, or participating in entrepreneurial clubs, I learned to take initiative and handle challenges. Exposure to different perspectives and real-world situations helped me become comfortable with taking calculated risks. The creative problem-solving approach I built during school has been instrumental in shaping my entrepreneurial journey with Motorprotek.
What are the most significant lessons you have learnt since launching Motorprotek?
The entrepreneurial journey is inherently unpredictable, making adaptability a crucial trait for success. Flexibility in strategy allows businesses to navigate unforeseen challenges and seize new opportunities. Equally important is the power of marketing — no matter how exceptional a product may be, it won’t thrive without strong branding and compelling storytelling to connect with customers. However, gaining customer trust is not instantaneous; it requires consistent quality, transparency, and reliability over time to establish credibility in the market.
Moreover, entrepreneurship demands a diverse skill set, encompassing marketing, finance, logistics, and product development. Mastering multiple disciplines enhances decision-making and efficiency in running a startup. Lastly, failures should be viewed as stepping stones rather than setbacks. Every mistake presents a valuable learning opportunity, and resilience is the key to long-term growth and success.
How are the products different in the market?
There is so much to speak about it but I may start from the basics. Our products are designed for car enthusiasts who want professional-grade results without the need for a detailing shop. With high-quality formulations, our ceramic coatings provide exceptional durability, hydrophobic properties, and a deep, glossy finish that outperforms generic market options. We offer premium protection at competitive prices, ensuring top-tier performance without breaking the bank. Engineered for ease of use, our coatings are beginner-friendly and simple to apply, making advanced car care accessible to everyone. Beyond ceramic coatings, we provide a complete range of detailing solutions, including detailers and PPF, making us the ultimate one-stop shop for comprehensive vehicle protection.
How do connections made during your time at this school influence your entrepreneurial path?
Apeejay School was more than just a school; it was a place where I built relationships with like-minded individuals. Many of my close friends came from entrepreneurial families, which naturally exposed me to business thinking from an early age. The network I formed during school continues to be valuable, whether it’s for business collaborations, insights, or support. Having peers who are also on entrepreneurial journeys creates a strong ecosystem of shared learning and opportunities.
