What would be your answers when I ask you –
Do you really want to grow?
Do you really want to succeed?
Are you daring enough to be a part of the adventure of your own life?
If you said yes, then you need to get out of your COMFORT ZONES right now. Growth never happens in comfort zones; it starts the moment we step outside them.
What once was frightening and unknown becomes the new normal. We can never know our capabilities, our interests, until and unless we step out into the world and try new things.
Trying new things isn’t just an adventure; it’s about character development, it’s about meeting versions of yourself you didn’t even know existed before.
Don’t think twice about opting for that one club or hobby in school, just go for it, because nothing new is going to happen unless you create something new.
Many of us lack the desire to explore the unknown. We don’t want to do something which is uncertain. We don’t want to get out of our comfort zones.
I mean, why would we right? It gives us a sense of security, safe,ty and routine. It feels as if everything’s just perfect. There’s minimal stress, there’s no risk at all.
Isn’t that the dream life?
Isn’t that a happy life?
That’s where the catch is – DON’T CONFUSE COMFORT WITH HAPPINESS
You can’t live the same year 75 times and call it a life now, can you? If you really want to achieve something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do things you’ve never had.
Getting out of your comfort zone and stepping into your growth zone can bring significant changes to your life. It’s not about directly changing your life upside down; rather, it’s about facing the things you are too scared to do, it’s about trying one new thing every day. It’s about taking risks and stretching your abilities.
As a student, trying new things can be very beneficial as it leads to the discovery of hidden talents, talents which we didn’t even know existed.
Let me give you an example ~
There was a girl in 9th grade, let’s call her Anna.
So, you see, Anna wasn’t the topper of the class nor was she a failure; she was an average student, as some people might call her, who was happy in whatever she was doing. She never took part in any extracurricular activities because it was too overwhelming for her, and she was scared to lose; she didn’t want to disappoint her teachers, she didn’t want to break their trust.
But one day, due to a shortage of students in a photography competition, her teacher called her up to fill the spot. She hesitated but ultimately said yes. And when the results came out, she came 2nd among 47 children from 16 schools. Isn’t that amazing? Now Anna has a YouTube channel with more than 70k subscribers, and can you guess what her videos are about? I bet you can
Would she have discovered how good a photographer she was if she had said no at that time? If she got too scared?
No, she wouldn’t
She wouldn’t have discovered her talent if she had said no, and it’s the same for you.
CONCLUSION
Go try that thing you’ve been too scared to do until now. It’s not about winning, it’s about discovering your capabilities. Your comfort zone is cozy, but nothing can grow there
“If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes — then learn how to do it later!”
So ask yourself once again
Do you really want to grow?
And this time, answer with action
