Tell us about yourself.

I have a deep interest in Geopolitics, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence. I believe these fields are shaping the future of our world. Beyond my intellectual pursuits, I am committed to carrying forward my family’s legacy of education with integrity and dedication. I draw inspiration from the key morals and visionary principles of Dr Stya Paul, striving to uphold values of excellence, perseverance, and service in all that I do.

What was your first reaction when you learned that you had won this prestigious award?

I was genuinely surprised when I won the award — it was an unexpected yet incredible moment. Overwhelmed with joy, I couldn’t contain my excitement and immediately hugged my best friend, sharing the happiness of the achievement.

How do you define human values, and how do you incorporate them into your daily life?

To me, human values are the fundamental beliefs that define who we are and guide how we interact with others. They shape our character, influence our decisions, and determine the way we contribute to society. In my daily life, I strive to fulfil my responsibilities with sincerity and respect, believing that when we uphold our duties with integrity, human values naturally become a part of everything we do. It is through these small, consistent actions that values such as kindness, honesty, and compassion are truly lived and reflected in our interactions with the world.

Any initiatives you have taken so far which are pure examples of human values?

I always strive to support my peers whenever I can. Whether someone is feeling down or hurt, I make it a point to offer a helping hand. There wasn’t a single grand gesture, but rather a series of small, meaningful acts of kindness that ultimately led me to receive this award.

What advice would you give to other students who want to live by strong human values?

Always stay true to your core beliefs. Human values are implanted into all of our hearts, but it is up to you whether you follow these values or not.

What is one key lesson from Dr Stya Paul’s life that you would like to incorporate into your own?

If I had to learn one key lesson from Dr Stya Paul’s life, it would be the lesson of empathy. The second you help others, you feel joy more than anything in the world. And the more and more you do so, it will give you a purpose in life, and it will be more fulfilling.
