‘Teachers here are mentors who guide us at every step’

“Education is not just about acquiring degrees, but about shaping who you become in the process.” These words perfectly sum up the learning journey of Neha, a bright student from Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar. Having completed her BCA with an impressive CGPA of 9.04, she is currently pursuing her MCA from the same institute, continuing her pursuit of excellence and growth.

For Neha, choosing AIMETC was a well-thought-out decision. “I chose Apeejay because of its strong academic reputation, phenomenal legacy, and commitment to holistic education. It wasn’t just about earning a degree—it was about getting the right exposure and platform for professional growth,” she shares.

Her passion lies in cybersecurity, and she dreams of securing a position in a reputed company while contributing positively to society in the long run. Beyond academics, Neha enjoys travelling, meeting new people, and learning from their experiences—something that she believes broadens her perspective on life.

Reflecting on her academic journey, Neha describes it as transformative and inspiring. “The most significant values I’ve developed are resilience and perseverance. Every project, assignment, and exam has been a challenge that adds to my holistic  growth. I also honed my communication and leadership skills through active participation in college events,” she says.

Talking about what makes AIMETC truly special, Neha highlights its unique blend of management and technical expertise. “The institute not only focuses on theoretical knowledge but also integrates it with practical exposure. The teachers are not just educators—they are mentors who guide us at every step,” she remarks.

She credits the faculty and institute for shaping her personality and values. “The professors at AIMETC have played a huge role in who I am today. They constantly emphasise professional ethics, integrity, and social responsibility along with academic excellence,” she says gratefully.

The AIMETC student is a firm believer in lifelong learning and she practices the art of daily improvement. She has adapted a  ‘30-minute learning rule’ strategy which includes current affairs apps, engages in daily discussions and debates, and performs a ‘post-mortem analysis’ after every major project to identify areas of growth.

Neha’s journey at AIMETC stands as a testimony to how holistic education, guided mentorship, and self-driven learning can shape not just successful professionals—but responsible, value-driven individuals ready to make a difference in the world.
