
Her dance moves can take all by storm leaving all awe-struck in amazement. Meet Sayesha Malhotra student of class VII at Apeejay School, Faridabad. In a candid interview, she runs down on her plans and how dancing has improvised her life.

Tell us about your recent achievements.
Recently, I secured the first position in Modern Mélange’s Debate Dynamos at Modern School, second position in Ecotech Creations’ Science in Play, and first position again at our very own Meraki Carnival.
How did you prepare for the dance performance?
I prepared for the dance performance at the Meraki Carnival in just two hours, focusing on quick choreography, practising key moves, and building confidence to deliver an energetic and engaging performance.
Who is your inspiration behind learning dance?
My inspiration behind learning dance is my dance teacher. Her passion, guidance, and dedication to the art form constantly motivate me to explore, improve, and express myself through dance.
Who is your favourite dancer and why?
My favourite dancer is my school dance teacher. Her grace, versatility, and deep understanding of dance inspire me. She brings life to every performance, making her my ultimate role model.
How did Apeejay School support your dance journey?
Apeejay School, Faridabad supported my dance journey by providing excellent opportunities, guidance, and a nurturing environment to grow and excel.
Would you like to take up dance professionally in future?
I have not decided yet, but I deeply value dance as a passion and enjoy exploring its creative and expressive potential.
What are your favourite subjects and what’s your ambition in life?
My favourite subjects are Science, Social Studies, and Math. I haven’t decided on my ambition yet, but I enjoy exploring various possibilities and thinking about what I should pursue in the future.
