
She aspires to conquer the world of research by mastering a professional field. Meet Samriddhi Yadav who is studying in class XI at Apeejay School, Noida. In a candid interview, she shares how she balances her other interests with academics.

What was your preparation like?
I scored 96.2% in my class X Board exams. I started my preparation right from the beginning of the session. My preparation included self – understanding of concepts and remaining consistent throughout the year.
Which stream have you taken and what are your plans?
I’ve opted for the Humanities stream with Applied Math as an optional subject. I have an interest in the subjects which this stream has to offer. Economics and Applied Math are some of the subjects with which I would like to proceed further.
How did the teachers support you?
The teachers at Apeejay are helpful. All of our teachers made sure that we were thoroughly ready for our Board exams and gave us a lot of practice questions, worksheets, mock papers etc. Their classes were quite detailed which gave us a good grip on all the subjects.
Which extracurricular activities do you enjoy at school?
I like to sketch in my leisure time and I have participated in a lot of Inter-school competitions. I like to try different mediums in painting. I also like swimming as a sport.
How has your journey been at school so far?
It has been a fairly good experience for me. A lot of opportunities are there for all of us to develop new skills.
Any message for students appearing for class X Boards next year?
Do not panic and don’t opt for too many resources. Remain consistent, understand all concepts thoroughly and revise them daily- that’s more than enough. Just believe in yourself.
