
Her age has never confined her zeal and enthusiasm to explore her interests and actively pursue them. Meet Navika Malhotra who is studying in class III at Apeejay School, Faridabad, Sector 15. In a candid interview, she shares how she personifies the phrase – good things come in small packages.

Tell us about your recent achievements.
I have achieved remarkable success in extracurricular activities. I secured the first prize in the solo dance competition and also claimed the first prize in mono acting and many more. In addition to my artistic talents, I am also an accomplished yoga practitioner.
How did Apeejay School support your journey?
I cultivated the courage to showcase my exceptional skills and vibrant stage presence that captivated the audience during my remarkable performances. I learnt movements that exuded grace and confidence from my dance teacher. I also actively participate in various class activities and assemblies with great enthusiasm, contributing to my peers’ and teachers’ admiration.
How have recreational activities shaped your personal life?
I can now demonstrate incredible focus and maintain composure throughout. My body has also gained flexibility and agility. I have also become an outgoing, positive, and upbeat student who quickly grasps new concepts and ideas.
Who is your inspiration behind learning dance?
My dance teacher is the driving force behind my passion for dance. Her unwavering dedication, expertise, and love for the art form inspire me to push my boundaries, refine my skills, and embrace dance as a powerful means of self-expression and growth. Her encouragement and guidance continually motivate me to strive for excellence.
Would you like to take up dance professionally?
I haven’t made a definitive decision yet, but dance holds a special place in my heart as a cherished passion. I thoroughly enjoy exploring its creative and expressive aspects, and it continues to inspire me as a powerful medium of self-expression and joy.
