A good primary school helps students grow not just academically but socially, emotionally, physically, and creatively. “We chose Apeejay School, Noida, because of its strong academic excellence and rich extracurricular offerings. The school uses a mix of traditional and modern teaching methods, which we appreciate. We’ve seen good outcomes in former students, and we hope the same success will extend to our child in the coming years,” shares Mani Maheshwari, whose daughter, Mysha, studies in Class I here.
Read on to know how through structured lessons, children build foundational skills like reading, writing, arithmetic, and basic problem solving.
How is holistic growth promoted through extracurricular activities?
We sincerely appreciate the school’s dedication to providing a wide range of extracurricular activities that enrich students’ overall development. To build on this strength, greater transparency in how these activities are assessed would be valuable. Clear evaluation criteria and constructive feedback would deepen our understanding of outcomes and help us fully recognise the impact of each activity.
Which best practices do teachers use for primary students?
We appreciate the way teachers blend traditional methods with newer, practical approaches; helping students learn by doing rather than just reading theory. We believe that combining classic teaching with hands‑on work brings the best of both worlds. We value the school’s efforts and hope that future lessons include more creative, interactive teaching, striking a balance between innovation and effective learning.
How are the safety protocols here?
We’re reassured that all safety concerns are carefully addressed. Every student, staff member, and visitor is issued an ID, ensuring proper identification at all times. Controlled entry and exit, along with supervision for operations, help maintain a secure environment, giving us confidence in the school’s commitment to safety.
How do you handle her studies at home?
We try to handle her studies at home in a balanced, practical way. Despite work commitments, we ensure she has a fixed time for study daily. We do activities together and explain concepts in different ways. Each day we have ‘story time’ where she can share about her day, and I keep an eye on her schedule as needed; supporting her consistently and lovingly.
What are the strengths of this school?
We appreciate the nurturing environment, caring teachers, and the potential for well‑rounded development. We look forward to seeing how the school helps her grow academically, socially, and creatively over time.
