Spreading happiness this Christmas via cloth donation

Christmas embodies the spirit of love, care, and compassion, bringing joy to others. In alignment with this sentiment, the students, teaching, and non-teaching staff of Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram, participated in a heartfelt initiative to donate clothes. The cloth donation drive was organsied by Apeejay’s National Service Scheme (NSS) in collaboration with The Earth Saviours Foundation.

This thoughtful drive aimed to bring happiness to less privileged individuals. Various clothing items, including sweaters, mufflers, shirts, and pants, were collected and handed over to the foundation’s members. This act of kindness reflected the university community’s commitment to making a positive impact.

Sharing her experience, Apeejay student Anshu expressed, “My experience with the cloth donation process was overwhelmingly positive. From the moment I decided to donate, I felt a sense of purpose and fulfillment knowing that my unused clothing could benefit those in need.”

Another student shared, “I participated in a clothes donation drive organised by NSS in collaboration with the Earth Saviour Foundation. This winter, I donated clothes to help those who couldn’t afford proper winter wear. It felt great knowing that my small contribution could make someone’s life a little easier in the cold. This experience reminded me of the importance of helping others with basic needs like staying warm and inspired me to continue supporting such causes.”
