What are your plans ahead?
I plan to do Economics (Honours) from Delhi University, then pursue an MBA and eventually enter the finance sector.
How were your school days?
My school days till class X were fulfilling. I used to enjoy a lot with my friends but as I entered class XI, I got down to studying and focusing on my career.
How were the teachers at Apeejay?
The teachers at Apeejay were really helpful and had an excellent hold over the subjects they taught. They were able to help and guide me on how to maintain a balance between studying for boards and CUET. Also, they were flexible when it came to my attendance as I had to attend my coaching classes most of the time.
Were you sure of scoring 100%?
Honestly, I was expecting a good score in CUET but the centum on my scorecard took me by surprise. It took me a whole hour to digest all of it as it was a really big deal for me as well as my family.
Share any nostalgic memories of school.
One memory of school that I still cherish is our astronomy club trip to Sariska. It was a marvellous adventure with a mix of both fun and learning. It was the first time that I had gone on a trip with my friends and teachers. Hence, it is a memory which I hold close to my heart
Any message for the school students?
Believe in yourself. Nobody knows you better than yourself. Try everything and then decide what you want to achieve in life. Always listen to your teachers. They have been in this field way longer than we have.
How do you perceive study-life balance?
A lot of people think that it is hard to balance between studying and having a life but the reality is much worse. Unfortunately, when you are studying for a highly competitive exam like CUET you don’t have much of a life. You have to give up almost everything that you enjoy doing if you want to be on the top, that’s the sacrifice you have to make.
Share your success mantra.
Hard work is the only key. While it is tough to put in hard work consistently, it is the only way to achieve your goals.
